John Mac is a retired superhero along with his wife, Nicole. He is currently working as a dentist and taking care of his kids, Demetra and Flunky. John was unaware that other superheros were living in Hiddenville, but his daughter figured out that Phoebe was a superhero, as well as her whole family. After figuring this out, John and his family have taken a liking to the Thundermans, and are very close. The Macs often go over for dinner parties.
